Stefano known as SCdM has a University degree “magna cum laude” in Business Management at Bocconi University and a Master in Business Administration at INSEAD (Fontainebleau) – has developed a deep knowledge and distinctive skills in Corporate Development, Strategic Management and Strategic Finance at the professional and academic levels.
Since 1995, SCdM is a part time professor at the Business Administration Department of the University of Florence teaching courses for the Laurea and the Master programs in Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, Corporate Development, International Management. He has also been visiting professor at University of Bologna, MIB School of Management in Trieste, University of Palermo, Edhec Business School, Link Campus University, Università Mediterranea of Reggio Calabria. SCdM had also spent three years as academic director of European School of Economics. SCdM is author of many researches and publications on strategic finance, investment management, strategic and financial analysis, value planning and assessment, international management, corporate development and competitiveness. SCdM has a relevant activity in the education management also as a teacher for corporate inhouse workshops, executive programs, training courses. In particular, SCdM has developed a distinctive skill in a specific methodology called “majeutory” which combines the contents and methodology of training and education with those of advisory and consultancyand it aims at assisting groups of managers and executives to analyze and to solve strategic, organizational and financial problems.
SCdM is advisor and councelor for some Italian industrial companies regarding the strategic development, the corporate governance an the strategic finance activities (venture capital, financial restructuring, private equity, corporate valuation, strategic and financial planning) and consultant of the major Italian banks for projects in the areas of corporate finance, private baking and asset management. SCdM has also been director and chairman of some Italian medium large companies in the publishing, agroindustry and waste management industries.
SCdM has been the founder and the chairman of AIMBA – Academy of the Italian MBAs, the Association representing the professional interests of Italian people having a diploma of Master in Business Administration or Master in General Management. SCdM is also the author of the first Deontological Code for the managers which is the Code adopted by the Italian Register of Professionals in Business Management.
