What we store, and why.

We use only the cookies needed to run this site and to remember the choice you make on the cookie banner. We do not run analytics, advertising, or third-party trackers.

This page explains how The Abrahamic Business Circle (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on theabrahamicbusinesscircle.com. It complements our privacy notice.

The legal framework that applies to us is the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC as amended, and the guidance issued by the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) — including the Cookie Banner Taskforce Report and the EDPB Guidelines 03/2022 on deceptive design patterns.

Under that framework, only “strictly necessary” cookies may be set without your prior consent. Every other category requires an explicit, informed, freely-given opt-in. You may withdraw your consent at any time without detriment.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat that as an opt-out: the banner does not appear and analytics and marketing stay off until you change your choice manually.

Categories we recognise

Four categories. Three are off by default.

The three optional categories — functional, analytics, and marketing — sit alongside the strictly-necessary baseline. Your choice is recorded in the first-party tm_consent_v1 entry and remains valid for twelve months before we ask again.

Strictly necessary: Required for the site to function and to remember the choice you make on the cookie banner. These do not require your consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive. They cannot be switched off.
Functional: Reserved for preferences such as language selection or remembering recently viewed content. We do not use any functional cookies today.
Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated usage measurement so we can understand which pages are read and improve the site. When enabled, we may use PostHog, Vercel Analytics, Speed Insights, and Google Analytics to measure usage.
Marketing: Used to deliver and measure marketing communications.

Change your mind

You can withdraw consent at any time.

The cookie banner reopens whenever you select the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of every page, or by pressing the button below. Withdrawing consent is as straightforward as giving it — there is no cost or consequence.

You can also clear all site data through your browser. In Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge this is available under “Privacy and security” or “Site settings”.
