The Abrahamic Business Circle
Privacy notice

How we handle personal data.

A plain-language summary of what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do — written to satisfy Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR.

Controller

Who is responsible.

The Abrahamic Business Circle, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the controller of personal data processed through theabrahamicbusinesscircle.com. You can reach us at contact@theabrahamicbusinesscircle.com for any matter relating to this notice or to your personal data.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us.

The personal data we receive is the information you actively submit through the contact form on /reach-us — your name, email, phone (optional), and the details of your enquiry.

We also store a record of your cookie-banner choice in your browser's local storage under the entry tm_consent_v1. That entry stays on your device, is valid for twelve months, and is never sent to us.

The cookie banner offers three optional categories: functional, analytics, and marketing. Strictly-necessary processing happens regardless. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat that as an opt-out — the banner does not appear and the optional categories stay off until you change them manually.

Lawful basis

Why we are allowed to process it.

For the contact form, our lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR — processing necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a relationship — and, where applicable, Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in responding to substantive business enquiries.

For the cookie-consent record, we rely on Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive: it is strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested (a site that respects your cookie choice).

Recipients

Who else sees it.

Contact-form submissions are delivered to our inbox at contact@theabrahamicbusinesscircle.com using Resend (resend.com), an email delivery provider acting as our processor under a Data Processing Agreement. Resend processes the message in transit so that it can be delivered; it does not use the content for any other purpose.

We do not sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to any third party for marketing.

International transfers

Where the data goes.

Resend processes data on infrastructure that may be located in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission (Decision 2021/914) and any supplementary measures required by Schrems II.

Retention

How long we keep it.

We retain contact-form submissions for as long as is reasonably needed to respond to your enquiry and to maintain a record of the conversation — typically no longer than thirty-six months from your last interaction with us. We then delete or anonymise the record.

Your rights

What you can ask us to do.

Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given.

To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@theabrahamicbusinesscircle.com. We will respond within one month, in line with Article 12 GDPR, and may extend that period by two further months for complex requests.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the European Union, the authority in your country of residence; for example, the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) in France, the Datenschutzbehörde in Austria, or the Bundesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit in Germany.
