was born in Singapore but grew up in the UK and worked in London, where I met my Italian husband, Dr Maurizio Viel, who also lived in the UK for over 20 years. I graduated from Edinburgh University, and worked as an investment manager with several banks like UBS. Like many others before me, I moved to Dubai for my husband’s job, and gave up my career, and ended up working for my husband. My blog is my little creativity space as children and family life consume me, and I am passionate about finding the ways to raise and educate my children. Since my school days, I have been able to reignite my love for photography in the digital age, and the blog has given me huge amounts of freedom to take more photos again which has given me so much joy to cover a large variety of lifestyle and travel projects for families.
I write when I can. I have to work around my 4 children’s schedule (aged 7, 5, 3 and 1), my husband’s job and then I write if time allows. I also have a mild form of dyslexia so excuse the typos as it has taken courage to write and formulate my thoughts on paper.
